Fawcett Society

The Trust has awarded £80,798 over two years to support the Fawcett Society's Local and Equal Project. The overall aim of the project is to make devolution work for women, make it more responsive to their lives, and ensure that decision-makers hear their voices and by influencing the decisions that are being made.

The project will combine gendered analysis of economic data, grassroots collaboration with local women and community organisations, and detailed policy analysis to enable women in two devolved regions (Greater Manchester and the Midlands) to effectively make their voices heard about the public services that affect their lives.
