March 2022: Smallwood Trust EDI Journey... so far
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is a core component of Smallwood's Governance Action Plan. Our work as an organisation on EDI is about ensuring we have a culture (which includes Board members, staff, consultants and any volunteers) that encourages people of all backgrounds and experience to feel a key part of what we do and our mission.

April 2021: Women’s Sector Resilience Fund: Final Report
This report is the final instalment on our partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) which made funds available under the Women’s Sector Resilience Fund. It includes information of the immediate use and impact of the grants and looks at how funds have safeguarded essential services during the pandemic. VIEW REPORT

February 2021: COVID Emergency Grants: Analysis of funding awarded to the women’s sector
In September and October 2020 the Smallwood Trust was given £2.5m of emergency COVID-19 funding from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF). The Smallwood Trust awarded this funding in the form of 115 grants to organisations working with and for women, in November and December 2020. This report takes a deeper dive into what the grantees told us in their applications about the women they were supporting, the health of their organisation and the challenges caused by the global pandemic. VIEW REPORT

This report contains a summary of grants awarded to women’s sector organisations in November and December 2020 through our partnership with the Department for Culture, Media & Sport’s Community Match Challenge. July 2020: Monitoring and Evaluation Update No.4
This report includes a summary of our latest impact data alongside findings from a survey with our individual beneficiaries, analysis of our reach and gaps and feedback from our partners on our approach to grant-making through an online survey and in depth discussions. VIEW REPORT

This report covers data from our grant-making programmes between September 2018 and February 2019. It includes some of our first Outcomes Star data and also information on grants made with Tampon Tax funding in 2018.
