New COVID-19 Frontline Women’s Fund – supported by The National Lottery Community Fund
We are delighted to launch the Covid-19 Frontline Women’s Fund in partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund.
The COVID-19 Frontline Women’s Fund is supported by almost £500,000 of funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, which will be used to provide support to organisations that are working with women most at risk of poverty and financial hardship due to the pandemic.

The COVID-19 Frontline Women’s Fund is one of nine expert partnerships, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, to ensure £59m of National Lottery funding reaches communities most vulnerable to the impact of COVID-19.
The move is part of The National Lottery Community Fund’s COVID-19 emergency response and means it will benefit from the partnerships’ collective expertise and networks, to ensure funding is distributed to even more communities.
The partnerships will focus on supporting organisations that work with those communities that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
Paul Carbury, Chief Executive of the Smallwood Trust said: “With the majority of frontline women’s organisations fearing for their survival, we are delighted to have this partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund as it enables us to deliver critical funding to organisations who are supporting financially vulnerable women during this pandemic.”
