Smallwood Trust Nominated for Charity Governance Award

We are delighted to be shortlisted for the prestigious Managing Turnaround award for the Charity Governance Awards (CGA) 2020.

The CGA is a ‘not-for-profit initiative created to celebrate outstanding governance and trusteeship in charities across the UK.’

In support of our nomination, the CGA said “the (Smallwood Trust) board took brave decisions in implementing comprehensive new structures and processes, which considerably aided the Smallwood Trust in increasing its social impact. Sweeping reforms across governance and a commitment to evaluation and improving impact are aimed at ensuring that the Trust’s new-found success will be sustainable.”
