As a grant-maker, we provide life changing funds to individuals, women’s voluntary sector organisations and policy initiatives that meet our mission.
We know the situation for many people has been exacerbated by the pandemic and the Board have therefore agreed an increase in our 2021 grant-making budget. To support the distribution of these additional funds, we are offering a six month secondment opportunity for a Grants Administrator. The role will assist and guide individuals through our grant-making process. This programme awards grants of c.£700 to individual women who are experiencing low income or life changing events such as loss of income or housing instability.
Smallwood staff are currently working remotely and this position could also be carried out either working from home or from the parent organisation’s office (candidate must be within the UK). We encourage flexible working and would consider a job share for the right candidates.
