Building an Equitable and Diverse Organisation

Our ambition is to work alongside others to become one of the leading grant making organisations in championing this sector to become ethically diverse, LGBTQ+ inclusive and disability confident. Our immediate aim is to build a representative and inclusive organisation and learn and share with others to help strengthen our EDI goals.

Collaboration and shifting power provides the framework within which we work. We value the contributions of others and actively engage with them to achieve maximum impact for tackling gendered poverty. A more collaborative approach amongst stakeholders will enable us to learn, foster creativity and develop a commitment to do things better.

Our aspiration is to see grant making delivered to the highest standards to ensure the best outcomes for women. We know this can only happen if we have a diversity of minds and ideas that come together to raise standards for the sector.

One of the ways in which we hope to make a difference is to promote inclusive routes into the profession, improve representation and support all those aspiring to a career in grant making.

In order for us to realise our ambition we have set ourselves 5 ED&I goals:
