Linda is in her late 50’s and surviving on state benefits. She had moved in to a property in rural Scotland and could not afford to fill the oil tank meaning she had no resources to heat her property. This was affecting Linda both physically and mentally as she had no other support locally. Linda was awarded a grant to fill her oil tank and also to buy some warm clothing. Being able to stay warm and also knowing that support is there when she needs it, has greatly improved her health and well-being.
