Community Grant Partnerships – Fund now open
We are delighted to announce that we are open for applications from frontline women’s organisations and services to distribute grants to financially vulnerable women in their local communities.
In this grant round, applications are open for organisations in the areas of Stoke-on-Trent, Liverpool/Merseyside and Middlesbrough/Teesside as well as rural communities in Staffordshire and the Tees Valley. We are also particularly interested in applications from services led by and/or supporting BAME women.
We are looking to fund a range of specialist women’s organisations and services to become Smallwood Trust Community Grant Partners. Organisations will be able to use the funds to provide small cash grants to individual women to help them overcome personal and financial barriers, helping them to make changes in their lives.
The fund is open to charities, social enterprises and other non-profit organisations who have existing service and projects that support women to become financially resilient and could offer grants to individual women linked to the following aims:
• Employment stability
• Financial stability
• Housing stability
• Mental health and well-being
Organisations can apply for up to £25,000 each year for three years (£75,000 total).
We expect to award c.£450,000 in this funding round. The deadline is the 19th June 2020. For more information and to apply, please visit the fund page here.
