Invitation to tender: National Women’s Sector Infrastructure Study
In response to the disproportionate effect of the pandemic on both women and girls and on the women’s sector, a small group of funders want to commission a study that will explore what women’s organisations need to increase opportunities for transformational change.
These funders (including Comic Relief, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Lloyds Bank Foundation for England & Wales, National Lottery Community Fund, Pilgrim Trust, Rosa and Smallwood Trust) all have track records in funding women’s sector organisations and/or women’s sector infrastructure and would welcome recommendations to help them take further action.
The scope of this work would include, among others, looking at what infrastructure and networks already exist, how the concerns of grassroots groups are heard and amplified, and how different types of women’s organisations work together.
Key audiences for this work will include national and local women’s sector organisations, activists and campaigners on women’s issues and other funders and commissioners.
Full details of the work and how to submit your proposal can be viewed HERE.
We are inviting expressions of interest from both organisations and consultants/freelancers by 10th January 2022, to start work in February 2022.
Ideally, a final report and recommendations would be submitted by 31st May 2022.
For any further questions and to submit your expression of interest, please email Cullagh Warnock at cullaghwarnock@blueyonder.co.uk
