New Partnership with Barclays LifeSkills Announced

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Barclays LifeSkills that will support 7,000 women on low income over the next two years to access additional support, education and training opportunities. LifeSkills will be delivered through online modules, lesson plans and interactive content.

The partnership will see £405,000 distributed through our community grant partnerships programme to enable women on low income to overcome adversity and build a confident, positive and secure future.

The programme will provide individual women with essential financial support and incorporate the LifeSkills programme to help us work towards the following outcomes for beneficiaries:

  • Improved financial stability
  • Improved employment stability
  • Improved housing stability
  • Better mental health and well-being

Emma Crump, Head of Evaluation at the Smallwood Trust said, “We are delighted to be partnering with Barclays as it will help us to provide additional funding to financially vulnerable women and also enhance the support and tools they have at a time when the need is so great.”
