New world record set in run for Cost of Living Fund
We would like to congratulate our former Smallwood trustee, Simeon (Sim) Foreman, who has set a new Guinness World Record* for the fastest half marathon dressed as a male Badminton player, with all money raised going to our Cost of Living Fund.
Sim successfully broke the record at Cheltenham on 12th June and wrote on his social media accounts, “(I am) delighted to have a new Guinness World Records record for the Fastest Half Marathon dressed as a Badminton player (male) in 1h 43m (just inside the qualifying time of 1h 45m). It was hard going, I won’t lie but delighted my antics are helping raise money and awareness of the Smallwood Trust.”
Sim plans to continue raising money for Smallwood by running in the Endurance Life Gower Ultra later in the year.
